Kapkapiii 2025 Movie Review

Picture that friend group with no cash, no plans, and a knack for daily drama. That’s Kapkapiii—now toss in a ghost named Anamika, a carrom board turned Ouija board, and endless screaming. It’s over two hours of wild bhootiyapa that’ll make you laugh, jump, and feel oddly nostalgic for your broke 20s.

The setup’s classic: six mostly jobless, half-clueless pals sharing a rented flat. There’s Manu (Shreyas Talpade), the wannabe leader with zero control; Nanku, a tea-seller moonlighting as a philosopher; Nirup, a jobless B.Tech grad; Rivin, the only one with a paycheck and a supposed girlfriend; plus a couple more charming freeloaders.

Boredom hits hard, so in true desi style, they decide to summon a ghost. Forget priests or research—they go full jugaad, using a carrom board as an Ouija board. It starts as a prank, with fake answers and a made-up ghost named “Anamika.” But then the glass moves on its own. Answers get creepily accurate. And just like that, their flat becomes a haunted madhouse.

Enter Tusshar Kapoor as Kabir, Manu’s buddy who shows up to crash and stumbles into a ghost-fueled circus. His deadpan delivery and baffled reactions steal the show—every scene with him guarantees something absurd is coming.

The vibe and mystery are the heart of it. This isn’t your typical horror-comedy with a mopey ghost in a hallway. It’s chaotic, silly fun with rapid-fire jokes and just enough spooks. The cast’s having a blast, and it’s contagious. Plus, the ending? Totally unpredictable.
