Good Bad Ugly 2025 Movie Review
The film centers on a bold and fearless don who yearns for a tranquil existence, only to be haunted by his shadowy past. When his son is abducted, he is compelled to confront his adversaries head-on. The unfolding drama is best experienced on the big screen.
Good Bad Ugly is a quintessential mass entertainer, crafted as a homage to Ajith’s commanding screen presence. It kicks off with a captivating first half, brimming with adrenaline-pumping action and nostalgic nods that will thrill Ajith’s ardent fans. The pre-interval and interval segments are expertly executed, holding the audience’s attention firmly.
Yet, despite a strong opening to the second half with an intriguing flashback, the film loses its grip. The narrative feels shallow, lacking emotional resonance, and leans heavily on intense action and prolonged buildup scenes. While some of the crowd-pleasing moments hit the markตร, others come across as forced and redundant. A sharper edit, particularly in the lead-up to the climax, could have elevated the experience.
GV Prakash Kumar’s background score aligns well with the film’s vibe but misses the chance to amplify key moments. Abinandhan Ramanujam’s cinematography delivers striking visuals, and the production quality shines, impressing audiences at international screenings.
