Blind Spot 2025 Movie Review

Set in Hyderabad, Blind Spot centers on the death of 24-year-old Divya (Rashi Singh), initially deemed a suicide after a heated argument with her businessman husband, Jayaram (Ravi Varma). Officer Vikram (Naveen Chandra), a sharp-witted police officer, suspects foul play and investigates a web of suspects, including Jayaram, his stepchildren, and the household maid, Saraswati. As secrets unravel, Vikram races to uncover the truth behind what appears to be a murder. The story hinges on a few twists, but the narrative struggles to maintain intrigue, leaning heavily on familiar crime drama tropes.

Naveen Chandra delivers a commendable performance as Vikram, bringing intensity and conviction to the investigative role. His ability to anchor the film is a highlight, with critics noting his knack for elevating even weaker scenes. Rashi Singh is adequate as Divya, though her limited screen time restricts her impact. Ali Reza and Ravi Varma offer solid support, with Varma’s portrayal of the morally ambiguous Jayaram adding some depth. Gayatri Bhargavi and Harika Pedada, as supporting characters, perform competently but are underserved by underdeveloped roles. The ensemble’s chemistry is decent but not enough to overcome the script’s shortcomings.
